It's not only neccessary to fight homophobia, it's neccessary to fight any oppressive belief systems and mechanisms. People should treat each other with respect and kindness regardless of gender, sexual orientation and skin colour. Too often our own prejudices and false accusations hold us back from seeking the truth and we rather follow the liars than the ones already telling the truth for centuries and centuries- because it's so much easier to be woman-hating and homphobic than developing oneself into an individual not bound by any world-wide held beliefs preaching subordination of free thinkers. |
